LYNDEN, Wash. – An early morning fire damaged several Lynden businesses.
Chief Robert Spinner says fire fighters responded at 4:30 am Tuesday to a fire in a business under construction at 306 Front Street.
They were able to contain the fire to the room where it started.

Businesses on either side of the burned building, including Creative Design Hair & Sculptured Nails, had some smoke damage.
There were no injuries, and the cause is under investigation.
