Ferndale School District hires Plenkovich as Facilities & Maintenance Director

Ferndale High School head football coach Jamie Plenkovich has been hired by the Ferndale School District as their new Director of Facilities & Maintenance. He will continue as coach of the Golden Eagles, a position he has held since 2004.

According to a district press release, Plenkovich will provide leadership, direction and expertise for the district’s capital construction, facilities planning, maintenance services, custodial services, grounds services, facility rentals, motor pool services and utilities.

Plenkovich, who most recently was the facilities manager at Whatcom Sports and Recreation, will begin his district position July 10th.
