OLYMPIA, Wash. — Democrats dominated in the 40th Legislative District.
Voters re-elected State Senator Liz Lovelett by a landslide.
Democrat Alex Ramel was appointed to the 40th’s State Representative Position 2 in January and is favored by 73% to retain the seat over Republican Russ Dzialo.
Debra Lekanoff was unopposed and will continue as the only Native American woman currently serving in the state House of Representatives.
