BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A longtime Fairhaven restaurant has a new owner.

Bellingham’s Brad Haggen acquired Skylark’s Hidden Cafe, a favorite of local residents and tourists since 1995 and he is not planning any immediate changes, although he says updated decor is likely.

Haggen is president and CEO of Naples Best Restaurants, Inc., which he launched after selling his stake in Haggen, Inc. in 2012.

His family founded the grocery retailer Haggen more than eighty years ago.

Haggen says he and his family grew up in Fairhaven and Skylark’s location is one of the many things he likes about the family restaurant.
