BELLINGHAM, Wash. – It is now easier to visit friends or family members who are being treated at Bellingham’s hospital.
PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center has announced a further relaxation of visitation rules as the county’s COVID-19 transmission risk remains “moderate.”
Patients are now allowed to have two visitors at a time.
The limit had been set at one under an earlier relaxation of the rules.
Visitors can also now use the main cafeteria, the Grounds & Grains Café and the hospital’s gift shop.
Visitors still must wear a mask at all times and will be directed to self-screen for COVID or other symptoms by posters in the hospital.
