From The Jansen Art Center:
Emulsion transfers give an artist another process of putting ink on paper and creating a unique print. We will work from digital files printed onto an emulsion dual film in either color or black and white as you choose. This is not the old hand sanitizer process you may have played with, but a workflow and materials that allow you scale and creative choices. We will be able to use most types of papers to do this from watercolor to exotic washi.
This is a two day course with an open day in between to allow adequate drying time. Day 1 will be preparing images to transfer and paper preparation. Day 2 will be making prints. The day in between, 7/31/26, is free.
This process doesn’t require specialized equipment so it’s a process that you can take home and use.
