A lot of saving money means being vigilant.  Technology has sometimes made us a little complacent when it comes to our finances. You think you are doing a great job by not using your credit card. Or, you’ve set up automatic bill pay on your account. That doesn’t mean you don’t need to be checking your monthly statement. You may be getting charged for things you signed up for and forgot about. Or, you may be charged an annual fee for the card, and now you’re late on the payment simply because you didn’t know about the charge. I love automatic bill pay…but it doesn’t mean you can stop keeping an eye on things.
