Starbucks just rolled out their Unicorn Frappuccino this week. Maybe you’ve seen a few pics in your news feed. It’s a pink-and-blue mango cream drink that’s perfect for social media photos.
Starbucks employees all over the country have been complaing about it, including the young man in the video above.
Others have been flocking to Reddit, where you can post anonymously, and venting about the chaos it’s causing thanks to its massive popularity.
Apparently it’s pretty complicated to make. And, even worse, apparently most stores didn’t get enough of the ingredients to fulfill the huge demand.
One barista wrote, quote, “We sold 400, and it just kept going. I never thought I’d have a near breakdown while covered in pink dust.”
Another wrote, quote, “Any other baristas feel like putting a severed unicorn head in [CEO] Howard Schultz’s bed with a note saying ‘Never again’?”
The Unicorn Frappuccino is only available through Sunday. But if they run out of ingredients before then, they’re going to be saying “No” to a whole lot of angry customers this weekend.
