Jenny from My Garden Nursery asked their experts what’s happening in their gardens this week:

Lynn said to check your fruit trees for Black Knot Fungus. Plus, do you final copper or Neem Spray after the leaves drop.  She also suggested adding mulch like Harvest Supreme, but she says that every week.

Tony said powdery mildew is an issue on many plants this year.  Care options range from just letting it be and then removing any diseased leaves from your garden to using a variety of controls.  Tony also suggests aerating your lawn, which helps break up heavy compact soil. Then, to overseed and fertilize with Gardner & Bloom organic fertilizer.
