Everyone at My Garden Nursery is happy to see the rain! Sure…it’s a little colder, but that’s what coats are for, right?!?
It’s time to plant everything from bulbs to cherry trees. Jenny spent some time in her garden last week. She planted three big ceramic containers underneath a cedar tree. Plants in containers will be more successful than if they were planted in dry soil around tree roots. The planters will add a splash of permanent color to your landscape, so make sure they are frost-proof.
Jenny used red Heucheras, sarcococca, black mondo grass, hellebores, and vinca. Plus, she added some snowdrop bulbs underneath that will pop up in the spring.
