Have you heard of “drip pricing”? It’s when a company advertises only part of a product’s price and waits to reveal other associated charges. One example is the satellite companies that promote a monthly rate but don’t tell you that you also need to pay a separate monthly charge for your dish and remotes. The airline and banking industries do it, too. The FTC wants to hear directly from consumers who have something to say about drip pricing. You can send your drip pricing stories through the FTC complaint form at www.ftc.gov/complaint
