A large study of 2,573 cities nationwide by WalletHub found when it comes to credit card debt, Washington is ranked 47th, so just a bit shy of the worst. The data used on the ranking ranges from average credit score to average number of late payments to mortgage debt-to-income ratio.
On the city level, in our state, Redmond has the best standing coming in at 15th. With a few more cities on the East side in the Top 100. But you know, a lot of Microsoft money there.
