Google asked kids around the country to design Google Doodles for them. And one local girl’s Doodle has been selected as a finalist in a contest worth $80,000!
Students were asked to design their Doodle based on the prompt, “I care for myself by…”
Lynden Christian freshman Josie Hendricks finished the sentence with the word, “remembering,” specifically recalling the tire swing in her grandparent’s back yard.
Now her Doodle is one of 11 finalists in the grade 8-9 category. The winner will receive a $30,000 college scholarship, and a $50,000 tech package for that student’s school!
Want to help her win? You can VOTE HERE but you’ve got to be quick! The deadline is today, Tuesday, July 12th!
