An 11-year-old boy in North Carolina named Jamie Parker got buried in rubble when a mudslide hit his grandparents’ house during Hurricane Helene. But he’s okay after his family’s dog found him.
His name is Tucker. He stood where Jamie was and wouldn’t budge until firefighters got there and used chainsaws to get him out.
Jamie, and his sister, used their allowance three years ago to save Tucker when he was about to be put down at a shelter. So it’s almost like he wanted to return the favor.
