I’ve seen a lot of bartering and trading of goods lately on social media and it’s so cool to see!. Neighbors are swapping groceries and other goods to save money and disperse resources. Keep in mind you can do this with services too. Think about trading jobs with neighbors of different skill sets. Babysitting, pet sitting, lawn mowing, car washing, oil changing, wood splitting…and even way more skilled labor stuff. If you want to save money or aren’t in a position right now to shell out cash, it may be worth checking to see if any of your neighbors might benefit from trading skilled labor or tools.
