Chances are good you’ve received some kind of credit card offer in the last month. If you are a college graduate or just got a new job, you are probably seeing even more mail offers. The envelopes will entice you with language such as, “You’ve been selected!” Card issuers will do their best to make you feel special and wanted. Sorry to break it to you:  you’re not so special–they send the same envelope to millions of other potential clients. Don’t apply for a new card unless you actually need it. Remember, junk mail is called junk mail for a reason.
