9am TODAY.  That’s your deadline if you want your stimulus check sooner than later.  The Treasury Department and IRS are encouraging everyone who still hasn’t received their stimulus payment to sign up for direct deposit online.  You go to the same site everyone was using to see when their check was coming–but it also allows you to enter your bank account info to get your check faster. Millions of people are still waiting for their money, and the deadline is here for a chance to get yours several weeks earlier than waiting for a check.  If you don’t submit your banking information online to the IRS 9am, your check will likely come in June.  To set up direct deposit–you’ll want to have at hand your bank account’s routing and account numbers. You’ll get your money faster, it’ll save you a trip out, and you’ll be all ready to go if there’s a round 2 of payments.
