KAFE This Morning with Dave, Allan & Patrice were on the air from a school bus at the Meridian School District to celebrate their last day of school.
They visited with Michele Apeles, transportation director of the Meridian School District, about being a bus driver.
Then, Dr. James Everett, superintendent of the Meridian School District, stopped by to talk about a successful school year!
Next, Mr. Collin Magnusson, from the math department, stopped by. Allan tried to test HIS math skill with a story problem.
Mrs. Ames, a science teacher, showed off her…CHICKEN costume. She was brave enough to show how smart teachers REALLY are by playing “Win! That! Prize!”
After her big win, Mrs. Ames talked about a great year and how to keep kids engaged in science.
Ever wonder what it’s like in the teacher’s lounge? Dave couldn’t make his way in there…BUT he did manage to get to the bus driver’s lounge.

Some teachers are just starting out…some are ready to retire after a long career. Dave, Allan & Patrice got to chat with BOTH ends of the spectrum at Meridian Middle School.
The students at Meridian Middle School have had a fantastic year…with a bright future ahead next year. Dave, Allan & Patrice got to visit with a few of them.
On the stop at Irene Reither Elementary School, Dave, Allan & Patrice visited with Mrs. Flaherty, the librarian, about getting kids interested in reading. Plus, Mr. D. stopped by to talk about how much he loves teaching kids. And, it was a great first year for principal, Tyler Dockins.
