Fridays are always a fun day, but we make them extra FESTIVE with our fantastic community members that join us in studio. Today we had:
- Nia from the WWU Community Consortium for Cultural Recognition came in to tell us all about the Martin Luther King Jr. event they are hosting on January 18th at Bellingham High School. This is a free event and all are welcome. It starts out with a breakfast, followed by a panel of speakers and a community service project. Nia is awesome and the event sounds wonderful! More information can be found on the WWU website.
- Lorin O’Grady from the Mount Baker Theatre and John Neeter from Neeter House of Luxury came in to chat about the Bellingham Winter Wedding Show. It’s January 19th from 11 – 3pm and it’s going to be a GREAT time. More info on the MBT website.
- Anna from Belle Bridal and JB Formal Wear chatted it up with us about dress fatigue, finding the right suit for the fellas, and let’s not forget about prom!
And we kicked off the day with a wonderful mail bag… If you miss it, every day around 6:10, we read messages that are sent to us. The messages are straight responses from you, the listener, and gives us an opportunity to interact directly. Today… like many days… we start off on one topic and end up somewhere completely different. Take a listen. 😉 If you’ve got something to say to the show, send us a text at 360.676.5233 or email us at KAFEThisMorning@KAFE.com
Here’s all the audio in case you missed it!
