What’s best thing you’ve bought during the pandemic? Here are the things Dave and Mandy talked about that people say make things easier. And they’re all fairly cheap.
1. Anti-fog spray for people who are tired of their glasses fogging up. Just spray it on, and it keeps your mask from fogging up your glasses. This one is from a local company called Gear Aid, and it’s either $4.95 or $15.95, depending on size.
2. Mask extenders, to keep your mask from pulling on your ears all day. They go around the back of your head to take the pressure off your ears. You can get a four-pack on Amazon for $6.99.
3. An electric milk frother. Not passing a Cruisin’ Coffee every day right now? Make your home coffee fancier without having to buy an expensive espresso machine. It’s easy to use and only cost $13.95.
4. Soundproofing strips that fit around the edges of doors. It’s a cheap way to make your home office a little quieter. You can do one door for under $9.
5. A mask with a clear plastic window, so people can see your lips move. They make it a little easier for people to understand you, so they’re good for meetings or for talking to someone with hearing issues. You can get them on Etsy for about $30.
6. A selfie ring light. Wanna look better in your online Teams meeting? These are easy, effective and fairly cheap. They start around $20.
