In tough financial times, you may be wondering if you should still contribute to your 401K. After all, that money could probably be put towards something else more immediate and dire.  Yes, you should still contribute!  A 401K is one of the best ways to build wealth. That’s your nest egg for down the road, not an emergency. Don’t think of it as an emergency fund and pull from it when times get tight! The advice from financial planners is to continue to make your regular contribution if possible.
