Want to earn a little extra money with your spending? Use a cash back credit card.  Seems counter-intuitive? Well, it could be if you’re not careful. But using credit cards responsibility while getting rewards is a great way to earn and save money.

How? Lots of cards offer cash bonuses to sign up. Then, the cards continue to earn money with every purchase you make. BUT, and this is a HUGE but, this only works if you keep your spending in check AND are diligent about paying off your credit cards.  Don’t go out and spend more money just to get the cash back, that defeats the purpose. Cash back cards help your existing spending work better for you. If you can’t pay off the balance, it’s not worth it—accruing interest negates any earnings and savings.
