Want to save money on your wardrobe? When clothing gets damaged, try repairing it before you throw it out. Shirt has a broken button? Try sewing a new one on! Pants have a small hole in them? Try to patch them first…or save them for yard work or dirty projects. Rips along the seams are pretty easy…even for a novice. No fancy equipment, just a needle and some matching thread. It just takes a few minutes and it saves a lot of money by keeping you from buying new clothes when you don’t really need to.
