A recent study said the average household spends just under $3500 on food eaten outside their home every year. That works out to about $290 per month or just over $70 bucks a week! It’s fun to treat yourself to lunch out as a nice break from the workday, but it does really add up. So, try to reserve that treat say for Friday so you have something to look forward to, and bring your lunch the rest of the week. You can stretch that 70 bucks a lot further at the grocery store.
