People are stepping up to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.

My old high school and college buddy, Tim, lives in the Houston area now and, of course, I’ve been worried about him since we started hearing about Hurricane Harvey.

We’ve been texting back and forth and, at first, Tim said he and his family were not in danger where they were. But as the disaster unfolded, that started to change.

Tim agreed to tell his story on the phone this morning and, as he points out, he’s one of the lucky ones.
