Saturday, May 26th: The Whatcom Memorial Day Parade, starts at noon at Alabama Street and Cornwall Avenue, with the backing of the Bellingham-based Marine Corps league and community donations.

Monday, May 28th: Ferndale holds the Festival of Flags at Greenacres Memorial Park from 12pm-3pm and will unveil the Korean War Memorial.

Monday, May 28th: Lynden has two ceremonies at 10am and 1:30pm at the Lynden and Greenwood cemeteries respectively featuring speakers, a 21-gun salute and local middle school bands playing “Echo Taps.”

Monday, May 28th: Bellingham also has two observances at Memorial Park at 9am and Bayview Cemetery at 11am which will both feature the same lineup and traditional laying of the wreaths ceremony.
