On Festive Friday’s, we often pack 10 – 15 people (sometimes more) into our tiny studio for some big-time fun. We’re never quite sure how the morning is going to go and we hope that spills out of your speakers as fun, spontaneity and controlled chaos. On May 30th, we packed the house with:
- A very special international music guest, Quinty, straight from the Netherlands into our studio! She sang 3 of her original songs and wowed the audience!
- Festive Friday Sponsor Mountain Pacific Bank – Mark, the CEO, joined us to chat about what makes them different.
- Lydia Place – Ashley and Shannon came in to chat about Handbags for Housing on Thursday, June 5th
- John Ayre, Assistant General Manager at the Bellingham Bells came in to chat about the Bellingham Bells 2025 season opener Friday in Nanaimo. The home opener is next Tuesday at Joe Martin Field.
- Blake from the Skagit Speedway came in to chat about the fun Racing action EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT!
- Marje from DVSAS came in to chat about their upcoming Garden Tour. She brought in the most amazing bouquet! If you’re in to gardening, you need to go on the garden tour!
- Sandy from the Ferndale Cancer Walk came in to chat about what it takes to put together a new cancer walk fundraiser in Ferndale. It’ll be June 20th at 6pm – June 21st at 1pm. It’s a relay style walk-a-thon to honor cancer survivors and their families!
- Carrie and Dan came in from Brigadoon Service Dogs to chat about their Service Dogs for Veterans Beer & BBQ fundraiser. It’s this Saturday in the Boundary Bay Brewery Beer Garden.
- La Conner Thrives Association – Christina & Christine – came in to chat about Pride month in LaConner. They have SO MANY THINGS going on!
- Radley from The Speak Easy Mobile Bartending hung out with us all morning. It’s a super cool new mobile bartending unit that will make all of your events festive!
- David Wight from David Wight Glass Art showed up to cause his usual chaos! he brought in the glass pieces that Allan and Patrice created a few weeks ago when they had the opportunity to blow glass at the studio. He always brings the fun!
- One of our favorites, John Neeter, from Neeter House of Luxury came in to talk about their new location and everything they have going on!
- And BIG thank you to the Rockfish Grill in Anacortes (and employee Chastidy) for bringing up some delicious chowder, salad, and IPA to kick off our day the right way!
