From ‘Ladies Night’ at Kara’s Beauty Barn to a Mardi Gras Ball fundraiser and Superbowl fun…here’s my weekend in 5 pictures.
I had a great time on Friday helping host a ladies night at Kara’s Beauty Barn–it was a fun group of women getting pampered before a night out on the town! Fun makeup, a little wine, and lots of laughs! I managed to snap a quick twilight shot of the grounds at KBB before the wind and rain started up! Saturday I celebrated my friend Paula’s birthday at a Mardi Gras Ball/Fundraiser for Whatcom Seven Firefighters at the Silver Reef Casino Resort. It was fun getting all dressed up to party! Good friends, good music (thanks DJ Scoob!), good food…all for a good cause!
Me. Every time one of my girlfriends wants to get Sunday brunch. Haha! And we know each other so well, that this is actually a picture of a brunch invite I got early Sunday. I didn’t get any pics of the mimosa evidence, but it was there. 🙂
I went into the weekend thinking I’d watch the Superbowl out somewhere, but my plans changed when my girlfriend decided to throw a house party instead. Works for me! But it did mean I had to make a store run Sunday morning…along with everyone else! Here’s our amazing spread of wings, bacon wrapped jalapenos, buffalo chicken dip, meatballs, etc. Note to self: remember to take food pics before it’s half gone!
