From ‘HMHH’ to improv comedy to a gross cleaning project I finally got around to doing, here’s my weekend in 5 pictures!

I started my weekend Friday night at a girlfriend’s house for something we’ve dubbed ‘HMHH’–‘Homemade Happy Hour!’ Wine and girl talk was just what I needed after a long week. Try it! Being fabulously frugal, sometimes it’s just cheaper to have happy hour IN.  We sampled a bottle I got on my recent Woodinville Wine Weekend!

Saturday night I went with my friend Megan to The Upfront Theatre to see BOTH shows! In February, the shows are Valentine/love themed. One was an improvised dating game, the other an improvised romance novel.

SIDE NOTE:  If you haven’t been to The Upfront Theatre, I highly recommend it! It’s such a gem! They do (approx) six shows per week, at 7:30pm & 9:30pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Sunday morning I went to The Black Cat for brunch with a girlfriend.  Have you ever ordered the “DIY Mimosa?” You should!

After brunch I decided to tackle under my kitchen sink. Do you ever wonder how you let things get so gross? It. Was. Bad. Here’s the before picture.  Who uses an old Sephora box to hold their stuff? Me, evidently.

Here’s the after pic! It might not look that much better…but believe me, it is! I’m not loving my Dollar Tree organizers, so this probably isn’t the permanent solution but it works for now.  Or for the next six years, because I’m pretty sure that’s how long I used the cardboard box. Ha! If you have organizers you love, let me know!

Wrapped up the weekend watching the Oscars Sunday night.  Not pictured:  Wine.
