KAFE Christmas Wish #1 – Sarah learned something about herself that changed her life forever. And now she wants to meet her mother for the very first time! Thanks to generous grants from B-E-C-U and Allen Law Firm, this wish is granted!
KAFE Christmas Wish #2 – George tells us that his wife, Kelly wants their wedding rings repaired so they can wear them again. Fortunately, we have a friend who can help! Thanks to Neeter House of Luxury for helping to grant this wish!
KAFE Christmas Wish #3 – Sarah’s family has taken in a niece and nephew in addition to the three kids they already have. It’s a lot! Sarah wished for memberships to Summit Adventure Park in Bellingham so they can get their energy out! Thanks to Summit for coming through for us!
KAFE Christmas Wish #5 – Suzie is concerned about her daughter’s severely cracked windshield. Thanks to Louis Auto Glass for making this wish come true!
KAFE Christmas Wish #6 – Shasta’s granddaughter, Verity, is a born dancer! Verity’s mom, a Navy vet, would like to enroll her in dance school but the price is a little out of reach. Thanks to Inland Northwest Ballet for discounting the price for us!
KAFE Christmas Wish #7 – Antoinette hasn’t spent Christmas with her family in more than ten years. Her wish is to be able to fly home to Tennessee for a family Christmas. Thanks to generous grants from B-E-C-U and Allen Law Firm, Antoinette is headed home!
KAFE Christmas Wish #8 – Cory and her husband got married during the pandemic. Not only were there very few guests, but they had no photographer. Now, she’s wishing for a wedding photo shoot so they can send them to family who couldn’t be there. Thanks to Radley Muller Photography for coming through for them!
KAFE Christmas Wish #9 – This is the first wish that really made us lose it. Jade wished for a night out for his dad. And as we investigated, we discovered that what Dad REALLY needs is a portable oxygen tank so he can leave the house. Thanks to BrightStar Care, dad can do things again! (Be sure to hear the call from Jeanie after the wish. She brought us all to tears.)
KAFE Christmas Wish #10 – Angela wished for some firewood and a gift card for her friend, well-known in Concrete as the “Flower Lady.” Big thanks to Vista Materials for lighting the Flower Lady’s fire!
KAFE Christmas Wish #11 – Alicia wishes for her mom, who does so much for other people, to get a night out at the Silver Reef Steak House after missing her chance earlier this year. Thank you, Silver Reef!
KAFE Christmas Wish #12 – Shari’s son has many challenges and she’d like him to have the opportunity to ride a bike. But he needs a very special kind. Huge thanks to Ambucs for making this wish come true!
KAFE Christmas Wish #13 – Audrie’s husband Brett lost his sister unexpectantly this year. She says he works really hard for his family and she hates seeing him sad. Music is one thing that brings him joy and Shari wishes for a special guitar for him. Thanks to Guitar Center for making the music happen!
KAFE Christmas Wish #14 – Autumn’s 20-year-old son is serving in the Air Force and she simply wishes he could be home for Christmas. Thanks to generous grants from B-E-C-U and Allen Law Firm, they’ll spend Christmas together!
KAFE Christmas Wish #15 – Brittany doesn’t like asking for help. She likes helping others, which is why she wants to be a paramedic. She’s one trip and several tests away from finishing school and could use a little help getting it done. Thanks to generous grants from B-E-C-U and Allen Law Firm, Brittany is going to save lives!
KAFE Christmas Wish #16 – Brian has a friend at a neighboring business and noticed that he could use a new pair of shoes. Thanks to Yeager’s Sporting Goods for keeping Jayson’s feet dry.
KAFE Christmas Wish #17 – Kelly is wishing for tires for her friend, Laurie, to keep her safe. Big thanks to Oak Harbor Les Schwab for getting Laurie safe on the road!
KAFE Christmas Wish #18 – Sarah’s soon to be father-in-law lost his wife suddenly this year. She’s wishing for him a dream fishing trip in Alaska. Thanks to Our Diner in Laurel for stepping up to grant this wish!
KAFE Christmas Wish #19 – Anne is wishing for a new iPad for her husband, Dave, after their one-year-old Saint Bernard knocked his off the table and broke it. Our thanks to Flax4Life for funding this wish!
KAFE Christmas Wish #20 – Cindy just called to say she enjoyed the show. But when we found out she was heading into the store to go shopping, we decided to pick up the tab. Thanks to B-E-C-U and Allen Law Firm for the generous grants that allowed us to call an audible.
KAFE Christmas Wish #21 – Gladys hand wrote us a letter asking for some pressed logs to keep her warm. Our thanks to CHS Northwest for providing that heat!
KAFE Christmas Wish #22 – Celeb’s friend Hillary has a bike, but he’s worried about her because she’s riding without a helmet. Thanks to B-E-C-U and Allen Law Firm for the generous grants that allowed us keep Hillary safe.
KAFE Christmas Wish #23 – Kateri has been a caregiver/nursing assistant for 20 years. The past 10+ years she was a home caregiver for her youngest son Andrew. Andrew passed away last year, and Kateri wishes for a beautiful way to remember him. Our thanks to My Garden Nursery for taking care of this wish!
KAFE Christmas Wish #24 – Tina’s grandson Jayce has many challenges. His doctor recommended that he stays active on a computer, but his is broken. Tina is wishing for a new one for Jayce. Thanks to generous grants from B-E-C-U and Allen Law Firm, Jayce will be following doctor’s orders!
KAFE Christmas Wish #25 – Christina wishes for a gift card from a home improvement store to do repairs on her home. Thanks to generous grants from B-E-C-U and Allen Law Firm, plus some generous Festive Friday participants, this wish is granted!
KAFE Christmas Wish #26 – Tanya wishes for some help for her daughter, Tamia, whose service dog, Baxter, is due for some care. Thanks to generous grants from B-E-C-U and Allen Law Firm, Baxter is heading in for a checkup!
KAFE Christmas Wish #27 – Elizabeth wishes for some help making Christmas happen for her three kids this year.
