It would be a great time to try generics to help with your grocery budget.  A lot of people resist because they have it in their mind it’s gonna be a lesser quality or taste.  Consumer Reports and other consumer advocates have studied it and said time and again it doesn’t.  If you’re worried about it, do a blind taste test with your family.  If they don’t notice the difference, you’re onto something. You may be brand loyal, but you also may be hurting for cash during the pandemic. Try switching a couple items out every shopping trip and put the difference in savings.
