If you’re a renter, it’s totally worth it to spend a bit more every month and invest in renter’s insurance. It covers the usual stuff you might think of like robberies, vandalism, and natural disasters, but, depending on the policy, it could also cover things like the medical bills of people who get hurt at your place, rent if you have to stay somewhere else because of damage done to your apartment, etc. While you have to pay to play, and maybe you’ll never need it, but it will save your bacon if you do!
