Is it really this easy to be popular?
Apparently, the way to make people like you is really, really easy.
A new study from Hokkaido University in Japan, claims all you have to do to be more popular is nod.
Yep. That’s it. Just nod your head while people are talking to you.
They had people watch videos and rate the likeability of the people in them. And they rated the same people 30% more likeable, and 40% more approachable, when they were nodding, as opposed to when they were staying still.
And all this time we thought treating people well was the best way to get them to like us.
