Hopefully your recycling and trash has gotten picked up at least once since you opened a bunch of gifts for the holidays. If you haven’t…be mindful of how you get rid of the packaging.  And I’m not talking about making sure it goes in the right receptacle. Leaving them outside on display is an open invitation for a possible thief. Think about it.  It’s pretty much an advertisement of all the expensive new stuff you got for Christmas. The game console boxes, TVs, toys, and computers. Hey y’all! Look what stuff we have in the house! Also remember the personal information on your boxes. Even if the package is generic, sometimes shipping labels can give away your name and address. The best way to get rid of those is to break the box down, turn it inside out and stuff it inside a black trash bag until garbage day or take them directly to the facility.
