Maybe it’s good that Saint Patrick’s Day falls on a Tuesday this year, since we’ll all be spending it in our own homes. But that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate! Here are some great ways to celebrate the Irish today:
Party virtually. The Milwaukee Irish Fest is the largest Irish event in North America, and they’re live-streaming the festivities. Also. the Dropkick Murphys are streaming a show live from Boston without a live audience. Here’s a list a few more.
Watch Irish movies or TV shows. “Harper’s Bazaar” has a great list of Irish movies you can find on various streaming services. And Screenrant.com put together this list of ten St. Patrick’s Day sitcom episodes.
Give the kids some green arts and crafts projects. “Woman’s Day” has a great list of 35 ideas you can check out.
Embrace your Irish ancestry. 33 million Americans have Irish ancestors. So it might be fun today to check out sites like Ancestry.com.
Serve up an Irish dinner. Delish.com has a ton of recipes. And while we recommend a yummy St. Paddy’s Day menu, we don’t recommend drinking too much green beer. Or any alcohol to excess. Sorry to be a buzzkill but alcohol can weaken your immune system, and that’s exactly what you don’t want right now. Let’s all dial it back a bit this year.
