I love a good deal! We know this.  But I often fall into the trap of buying something just because it’s on sale. While I’d argue that sometimes a screamin’ deal is just worth it for your mental health…there’s no sale that’s going to cost you less than not buying that thing in the first place. Try this little test when you’re feeling splurge coming on but you’re trying to watch your budget:  if you wouldn’t have bought the item at full price, you don’t need it.
