It’s Jenny from My Garden Nursery with Green Thumb Thursday and this week’s subject is The Rootslayer shovel!
Bill and I have super hard clay soil at our home in Bellingham. Bill is the hole digger in our family, so to make life easier for him we got the Rootslayer. It is everything that Radius says it is. Not only is this shovel designed with health and ergonomics in mind, but it has big, serrated edges on the sides and an inverted V at the end that will literally cut through roots that are up to about 1″.
Use this shovel for cutting though big, woody weeds that can then be pulled out easily after just one pull. You can chop through clay, ice, roots and more while the shape of the tool is reducing stress on your hands and wrists. It’s super strong and comfortable to hold with its round shaped handle.
Find the Rootslayer at My Garden Nursery and while your there to help with the heat get a Flamingo Freeze or an iced cold Lotus from the purple Flamingo Cafe Food Truck!
