The weather this week and next is looking pretty good, so it’s time to think about adding something wonderful to your life.  Sarcococca, also known as Sweetbox, is the perfect plant to add to your garden just in time to enjoy the sweet fragrance.

There are a few different types of Sweetbox. One growing about a foot tall and the other grows to 3 or 4 feet.  They are all hearty evergreens with a nice deep green color and white flowers.  Plus, they are wonderful in a planter on your back porch or by your front door where you can enjoy that sweet fragrance every day.  Cut a couple branches from the ruscifolia type and put them in a vase on your table.
