It’s warming up…and spring planting is here!

While it’s safe to plant fruit trees, berries, conifers, flowering shrubs, and perennials, hold off on tender annuals for now.  One perennial every garden needs is Erysimum ‘Bowles Mauve’, with its blue-green foliage and purple flowers that last for months. The plant is sometimes short-lived but is worth re-planting.  Deadheading it regularly can extend its life.

For a burst of color in your rock garden, plant yellow Alyssum, white Candytuft, or Pink Ice, along with the classic Lithodora for its true-blue flowers.  These plants create a beautiful mat of glorious color that will brighten any space.  So, get planting — At My Garden Nursery, spring has arrived!  Visit the experts for help choosing hardy plants for your garden!
