In between the snow, the ice, and the sun, March is for gardening! Time to plant berries, fruit trees, cold hardy veggies and conifers. Time to prune roses and fruit trees! Time to cut back ornamental grasses, tidy up the yard, and then visit your local garden center.
Because of the huge demand, there are some things to consider purchasing well before you will be planting them like veggie and flower seeds and Dahlia tubers. Dahlias fly off the shelves super-fast and the biggest, best selection is available right now…but do wait until warmer weather to plant.
