Attention all gardeners! Jenny and the experts at My Garden Nursery want to remind you that it’s time to plantlilacs. Plant them now…right now!
If you already have a lilac in your garden, then you are looking forward to beautiful blooms with the most fabulous fragrance in late April to May! If you don’t have one yet, then plant them now! My Garden Nursery has over a dozen varieties to choose from including 3 varieties that get between 10 and 15′:
-Agincourt Beauty, a traditional lilac with big purple flowers.
-Sensation, a unique purple and white one.
-The Common white
There are varieties that only get to about 6 to 8′ like Miss Kim and 4 to 6′ Bloomerang, which will do a repeat bloom in the fall. These varieties are smaller and have smaller flowers, but have a ton of the fragrant flowers on each plant! Plant one now for years and years of carefree growing and gorgeous fragrant blooms on your table!
