This week’s plant is one that many people hear the name of and think, “Ugh! Never!” The plant is Juniper! Daub’s Frosted and Blue Star – Both are super-hearty, no-care, full-sun plants that are drought tolerant and deer resistant!
Daub’s Frosted has golden yellow frosted tips, layered over bluish green pendulous foliage. An excellent low conifer. Daub’s is a wonderful way to add year-round color to your garden. A great choice to compliment it is Blue Ice Arizona Cypress and Purple Coneflowers. The color combo will make you drool! Well…that is if plants are your thing, like the experts at My Garden Nursery.
The other is Blue Star Juniper. Plant Weigela ‘Wine and Roses’ close by, the burgundy foliage next to the blue Juniper is stunning!
Who knew Junipers could do that? The experts at My Garden Nursery, that’s who. Visit Tony and Lynn at My Garden Nursery this week for ideas that will make you drool!
