This week, we’re climbing up into the world of sweet-scented Lonicera…better known as honeysuckle!

These fragrant climbers aren’t just pretty, they’re pollinator magnets and garden showstoppers.

First is Goldflame, a star performer with deep pink buds that open to gold and yellow blooms and a fragrance that will stop you in your tracks.

Next, Harlequin!  This one is fancy with cream-edged green leaves and delicate pink flowers; a painter’s palate on a trellis.  It’s perfect for adding a touch of elegance.

And, for bold, tropical vibes, try Mandarin, with striking orange blooms that hummingbirds can’t resist.

All three of these varieties thrive in full-sun to part-shade, climb with enthusiasm, and bloom from late spring through summer.
