It sounds like it’s going to get really cold! Depending on which weatherperson you listen to, it will get down to as low as the teens…and a few folks think it will get down below 10 degrees.
I am going to check all my planters at home and water as needed because a dry, frozen plant is an unhappy plant. Then, I am going to cover any plants that I’m a bit worried about. I may get some WiltPruf and spray my choisya and camellias that are in pots. Then, I am going inside to rearrange my tropical house plants.
January is the Indoor Plant-a-Palooza at My Garden Nursery. January brings the biggest, best selection of indoor plants as well as seminars, workshops and a plant swap, so it’s a great time to add a cool new plant to your collection. Then sit in front of a fire and relax with a book and enjoy your own jungle paradise.
