Does your lawn need a little love?  September is a great time to overseed.  Warm soil, cooler nights, and gentle fall rains make conditions just right.

But here’s another idea: it’s ok to trade some of the lawn for more color and more life.  Smaller lawns are easier to care for and give you space to plant pollinator-friendly flowers, ornamental grasses, or tough groundcovers that add beauty and life to your yard and September is the perfect time to do it.
