GREEN THUMB THURSDAY: Add Some Color to Your Garden!

Hi…it’s Jenny from My Garden Nursery!

Looking for plants that bring color and structure to your garden?  Barberries can be the secret ingredient you’ve been looking for. They are drought-tolerant, low maintenance, and deer resistant.

Helmond Pillar Barberry is tall and narrow with deep burgundy foliage…perfect when you need height without taking up much space.
Concorde is round and compact and just as rich in color.
Fireball Barberry brings bold red color in a tidy, compact shape. It grows to just 18 to 24 inches.
One with pizazz is Limoncello. It glows chartreuse with a red edge in summer, then puts on a fall show in brilliant orangy red, and gold.
And for a tall, golden option, Golden Rocket adds clean vertical lines and sunshine-yellow foliage from spring through fall.

Come see them plus the 7 other varieties for yourself at My Garden Nursery on East Bakerview. We make gardening fun—and colorful.
