Another new gardening trend is to leave your fallen leaves and organic matter where they lay. People are doing this to provide food, shelter and nesting material for beneficial wildlife and overwintering protection for pollinators.

Another item that is fairly new is using your cordless drill and a garden auger to dig your holes for planting instead of a shovel.
