Mr. Dilly Pickles suggested I share a garden tip! Dilly says to find the sunniest window looking out over the garden and NAP! BUT…our kitten, Miss Dally Cucumber isn’t one to nap the day away. She climbs! After scaling three big trees, she’s convinced the solution is simple…PLANT MORE TREES!
She’s on to something! The soil is still warm. Rain is here. And, fall planted trees and shrubs have months to grow strong roots before next summer’s heat. It’s also the perfect time to plant spring flowering bulbs, tulips, crocus, alliums, and daffodils.
Make sure to see the holiday bulbs like paperwhites, forcing hyacinths, and amaryllis.
Visit My Garden Nursery on E. Bakerview Rd. where the plants are happy, the people are happy, and the cats keep life interesting. Dally, our kitten, was in a tree while over 100 people wearing black cat ears came to celebrate Dilly and Dally’s birthday! They hope to see you at the next fun event on November 1st!
