It’s Jenny from My Garden Nursery! I hope you got out into your garden this weekend! The sun felt fantastic on Sunday! My husband, Bill, and I spent time pulling weeds and unearthing sprouting bulbs and little perennials like Cyclamen. We also did some pruning to get rid of dead branches and define the shape of a small tree. We will take care of our fruit trees and roses next weekend.
Bill started some sweet peas in the house and I freshened up a mixed container with yellow mini-daffodils, pansies and a bright white hellebore. It’s time to visit your local nursery friends and check out all the beautiful trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials they are bringing in.
My Garden Nursery just got in hundreds and hundreds of berries like blueberries, loganberries and raspberries. Your nursery friends can help with planting and design suggestions or any pruning questions you might have. Don’t you love this time of year!
