There’s no doubt paying for college these days is difficult.  It’s a good idea to have your college bound student apply for scholarships.  You’d probably be surprised at how many scholarships are out there and programs that are just waiting to give money to students.  There’s a website called Zinch that puts many families in contact with different scholarships.  At zinch.com you can look up the college or university you will attend and it will link you some of the available scholarship applications.  The schools are nationwide and the list includes Western, UW, WSU and many others!
